A message from the homeowners

The location was perfect, with the Transitway just a short walk away and everything we need within a quick drive. With several nearby grocery stores, restaurants, pharmacies and more, we have always been able to get whatever we needed in just a few minutes. This is an exceptional location for outdoor activities, with the playground, sports field, tennis courts and winter ice rink at nearby Kaladar Park, and best of all, easy access to Ottawa’s mixed-use bicycle paths without having to bicycle in busy traffic. Being at the end of a private street meant that it was a quiet home with little traffic or noise. We frequently hosted guests and often heard from them how great the large second bedroom is, and how nice it was for the guests to have a separate upstairs washroom. The downstairs third bedroom was great for visiting children and teenagers who preferred a quiet refuge with their own washroom, away from the adults so they could stay up late, and as was often the case, sleep all day! We will miss lounging in a hammock on the deck on warm summer evenings, growing strawberries and tomatoes in the backyard, and reading in a cozy spot in the winter sun. We hope that the new owners of 123 Glenhaven Private will have as many wonderful memories of this home as we have. Allen and Michaela
